Welcome to Be Ready Earthquake and Survival Products’ 2 Be Ready Blog! The goal of this blog is to help people understand exactly what they need to do to be completely ready in case of any emergency or natural disaster.
To some degree we all know that we should be prepared for an emergency. The question is – are you really ready for anything? Here’s a quick quiz to test your level of preparedness:
- Do you have all your important documents (insurance policies, mortgage, birth certificates, marriage license, social security cards, etc.) in one place that is easily accessible in case you have to leave in a hurry
- In case of a house fire, do you have a family escape plan? Do you have fire extinguishers in key areas of your house? If so, when was the last time you tested/checked them?
- Do you have a “grab-and-go” bag for each family member, with a change of clothes, medications and toiletries ready?
- Do you have a 3-day supply of food and water for each family member in case of a natural disaster (food in the fridge doesn’t count!)?
- Do you have flashlights around the house and in your car in case of power outages?
If you are like most people, chances are you’ve thought about these but haven’t really done anything to actually put it all together.
That’s where I come in. I started Be Ready Earthquake and Survival Products to give people peace of mind by:
- Teaching them what they need to have on hand in case of an emergency – and why.
- Providing a one-stop-shop for them to get exactly what they need.
- Creating emergency plans for families and businesses that will relieve the immediate stress of an emergency.
This truly is my passion – to give my clients peace of mind that they are ready to face any emergency or disaster that may come their way. My greatest satisfaction comes from hearing a family say “I feel so good to have this finally done!”
We have a lot of different types of disasters on this planet of ours – earthquakes, floods, power outages, wildfires and more. However, with a little planning and effort, we can survive any disaster.
My challenge to you today is to make sure all your important papers are in one place. Not sure what paperwork you need? Our checklist download will get you started.
